Hey Old Mike nice to see ya-- I noticed a while back that most people are using the pro version so that's the version I will go with Wow a 79.00 mouse? I never new I. I'm going to read up on it know --Count Mike made a good point I found out yesterday how easy it was to go after a dream a dream list. The other option I thought of was skipping the monitor and going with a TV?? Any Ideas.
Their IT IS Mike !!!!! Your Looking Good today!!!!!!
OK Nice mouse that made the semi final list- I have a tv that will work so I need a monitor too ok--essenbe got me thinking yesterday when he asked if I play games, other than my Wii I had to say no but now I will probably get into it- ok what about the graphics card again?
Old Mike 65 welcome aboard
simrick suggested. Later, if you see that you need a graphics card, you can save up for it. Also, Nvidia is just now releasing new graphics cards. I suspect in a couple of months there will be some very good cards at much cheaper prices than they are right now. The on board will do everything you need currently.
simrick's idea of a good external backup drive is an excellent idea. You need a good backup plan to avoid the problems you had in the other thread. Plus, I think there are some backups and adjustments you need to make in your CPU thread to protect the system you already have. Those need to be done very quick. Simrick's suggested system is a very good one and should be seriously considered.
From your test system, you do not, and never will, need 32 GB of ram. You could do just fine with 8 GB, but 16 would be good too. Too much ram is wasted money. If you are not using it, it serves no useful purpose.
Stay with high quality parts. You will know which those are by research. I don't know why you would need 2 SSDs, mybe you do. I think you would be much better served with 1 SSD and a mechanical hard drive for data and storage. I prefer Samsung SSDs. As of right now they are one of the best, if not the best, SSDs you can buy.
Simrick showed a Windows 10 OS in her suggestions. The retail version is more expensive, but can save you money in the long run. I would go with the one she suggested.
Just some of my thoughts at this time.
