I like core temp temp but I just now tried the newest x64 portable Core temp and like the regular core temp it wont work in this new PC on 14905 or on 14393 on the other drive in here and had the same result with the regular core temp on my suddenly dead old PC .
was the error "driver failed to load"?

If so I also had this and sorted this in my BIOS and set boot opp sys to other and all ok

    Nice CPU temp there.
Pretty nice gaming PC also. we have an older maybe 2nd or 3rd gen Core i7 PC here with a g27 wheel for 1080p games and heavy lifting with a GTX 970 which is below the real tough GTX 1070 , it plays decent 1080p ultra settings at plausible frame rates on most of newer games though .

Yes it was I would have to look in my HP OEM UFEI BIOS and check that out , all that would be OK if that fixed Core Temp without any adverse side effects .

    I'll check it out Thanks . :)

OTOH I'm dual booting 2 HDD on windows 10 now with 14393 on metal and 14905 on an SSD though

    welcome ,

That looks like a sturdy game build and then some . We play our game box into a 2013 40" 1080p Sony it's not a fast G sync screen or anthing like that but it looks good and plays decent for the abilities here haven't tried it on the 4K HDR 55" 120Hz panel Sony XBR TV in here though .

I'm not the gamer here .

How did you do that ?

I cant get it to run on this Windows 10 dual boot to 2 HDD LGA 1150 UFEI box on either OS or my last windows 10 dual bot 2 boot HDD PC -test mule on an AM3 legacy BIOS that ran it fine in 7 x64 with the same d/GPU

Not quite sure what you mean?
I just run it and it starts ok as the SS shows.

I'm not doubting you in the least but maybe these two vastly different HP OEM PC's here don't like any Core Temp thing on windows 10 is all I'm thinking .

HP likes to tattoo their OEM BIOS and exclude some things and all that makes a very good argument for a decent rodded custom build like yours or a more easily upgradeable custom build with everyday computing specs like this PC

I always build my own PC. It just assures me that if anything goes wrong it's generally my fault :)

I'm well overdue for an upgrade though
