nothing that i know of,, i play a lot of World of Warcraft
nope they just simply burned out, therefor i don't really trust Intel processors
same reason i don't trust Acer brand is because almost everyone that i know that has had an Acer/Emachine has had nothing but issues with them right out of the box
Msi, Toshiba, Hp, Asus, Nvidia, AMD are brands i know and trust because so far they never let me down
Ya know, I've been doin this for a lot of years. Used both AMD and Intel, and can honestly say, I've never had a processor, from either manufacturer "just burn out" after a year. Or ever, for that matter. I still have 10+ year old processors from both manufacturers that still work.......in fact, the only time I've even heard of a processor "dying" was because of heat (bad mount), someone was overvolting the crap out of it, or someone installed it wrong and bent pins.
Don't forget the thermal paste! :P
Seriously, run a temp monitor software from time to time to check if everything is alright. I've never had a CPU fail on me, and my computer career started with a Commodore 64.
We have 85+ servers at work, all intel, zero fails.
