You have to be careful with Corsair PSUs. Some of their models are made by good comans, others are not. I just prefer to stay away from them all together. Especially since there are MUCH better options available.

A couple of good articles on PSUs. Don't skimp on the PSU.

This one lists who the PSUs are made by. Seasonic and SuperFlower are about the best out there.

I wouldn't even start a build without a quality PSU. If you need to hold off and save for another few weeks, I suggest you do so.

This build is being done out of my tax return so i kinda need to do it now. I take it the EVGA 600B is not good enough for the build. What if i changed to a I5 4460 to save money?

A 600 is probably enough for that build, but there won't be much room for additional upgrades.....

Ok thank you. I would only need to use it for about 2 months tops maybe less. Then i could upgrade to a tier 2 PSU. I just wanted to know if i could use it until then. I don't plan to make any other upgrades anytime soon.

Ok after doing some research on my PSU i made a change to my build. I have decided to hold off on the SSD for now for a better PSU. How does this build look Intel Core i5-4690K, EVGA GeForce GTX 960, Fractal Design Define R4 (Black Pearl) - System Build - PCPartPicker.
