    Ram question


    I have 2 sticks of 4GB in 2 slots of this Ram on my ASUS Z97-A motherboard. Can I add 2 more sticks of 8GB to the other 2 slots or would that cause problems? Thanks! Amazon.com

    Just make sure that the 2 4GB sticks of ram are in the two slots for the same channel and the 2 8GB sticks of ram are in the two slots for the opposite channel. You should end up with 8 GB ram being used in dual channel mode and 16 GB of ram used in single channel mode.
