Buy the i7-13700K for slightly more as I did. The K version has a built in GPU which is useful if your plug in GPU has problems.
The Asus ROG Strix boards have a very large VRM cover which causes incompatibility problems with many Noctua coolers. I had to swap the Strix board I had bought for the TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI for me to reuse my Noctua NH-D14 cooler. Check the excellent motherboard compatibility checker. Yours seems OK.
    .
Z series board and k series processor is too much for my work and use of the system
On the other hand, cooling and consuming this series has a separate story that I don't want to get into
b760f is a mid-range flagship board and meets all my expectations

    Honest hard hitting advice?

    Samsung suxx...

Cut that RAM in half to just 32 GB. No, memory speed is NOT a major factor for you based on what you're gong to primarily do with the PC.

Now that you saved on RAM cost using a logical 32 GB instead of 64 GB, up the NVMe to 2 TB instead of a lousy 1 TB (you'll thank me latter). Amazon.com
About this cooler, are you sure it can handle the cooling of this processor?
As for the RAM, 32 GB will soon decrease and we have to upgrade it to 64 GB
So what better way to look into the future from this point of view
For Windows, I need a maximum of 1 TB of ssd memory, not more
I prepare a separate memory for my data
Regarding the brand, I prefer Samsung and have more confidence in it

Do you even live in the U.S.S.R, I mean the U.S.?
    No

Focus on CPU socket longevity... LGA 1700 should be around for some time... By the time you go and max out what the MOBO is capable of in the CPU department, it should be waaay cheaper to do so. I maxed out my current old rig's CPU capability... And guess what? I can play ARK, COD, etc with no issues... Yet, this thing is ancient by PC time standards.
Do you mean that I should make the processor, graphics and RAM lighter and only keep the board?
Does that mean you evaluate these changes positively?

In my opinion, you should buy a computer for your needs. No more.
Costs isn't linear to performance and the top of the line today well be average in some months. And prices are always going down.
Better buy a mid range today and replace in 5 years than a powerful computer and replace in 10 years.

    - 8 G is a lot of memory. Even using CAD, never seen more than half in use. As you use Photoshop, 16 G is good, 32 is a lot and 64 is a waste of money.
    - i7 or i9 are for gamer (s). And to have a harmony system, they require a powerful GPU and PS. Again, if you don't constantly need and use it is a waste of money.

Software products have improved a lot, for example, Topaz software
They need 32 GB of RAM for image rendering, and 4 or 6 graphics memory is not enough for them
Especially now that artificial intelligence has come and I am sure that soon the software will need a lot of RAM and graphics memory
For example, the next version of Adobe products.

Better buy a mid range today and replace in 5 years than a powerful computer and replace in 10 years.
You are right and thank you for your opinion
So I order the second build

Please give your final opinion about the second build

Ai learning needs lots of resource and because its the on a steep incline of progression parts will become devoid much faster in that area or the tech becomes less intensive what ever happens first.

The general rule for AI rendering is Vram x2 = Dram

I think either computer build will do what you need.

    Hello
Please tell me your opinion about this new system that I considered for purchase?
I build for the joy of building and getting what I want. I've never owned or bought a store-built PC, unless it was a laptop.

I build my systems based on the parts I want. Here my only constraint is how much money I want to spend. With that, I usually research the parts I'm interested in and set a budget for it - if I plan on spending $300 bucks on a board, I get the best board available for $300 bucks. I don't look to downsize from that price.

And honestly most people's systems are "overkill" for what most do on a daily basis, so I find the "overkill" statements null.

Build the system you want. Not the system others say you should build. The only constraint would be your wallet.

    Good luck.

Hard to say to someone who is into computers where they are actually going to use that top tier performance a statement like that fits because they will make the most of expensive parts but to someone who just goes on Facebook and checks email that same sort of logic is not very sound logic.

Example RTX 4090 for emails, Facebook and web surfing? said it before would be like driving a Lamborghini 20mh all the time while never opening it up.

I trust someone spending money on a build they want knows their needs and usage better than us.

And as I've said before, if it's not for you (general public) move on.

i was making a generalization because you made one of course the op is talking about more than that. You sound mad maybe you should move on.

lol you think you are grandiose or something? for al you know i could work at Tesla.

    - - - Updated - - -

Someone into Ai rendering/learning needs lots of performance but at the same time the OP is asking for an educated opinion not a biased one. Saying something like just pay top tier for overhead because i want best of the best is a generalization and also a biased opinion.

They are not 100% certain on their requirements hence no they are not sure on what parts to buy else they would not be asking for second opinion?

Both builds they have relayed are fine there is no need to get really nuanced about it. I do 3D rendering on less of a system close to but its older tech, no modeling is not as bleeding edge as AI but its pretty close and was the standard in this arena for a long time surpassing games at runtime because games are baked and all sorts of optimizations where rendering is real time.

I guess if you want to argue me then i know what i am talking about otherwise then there is nothing to argue about we are all allowed to express out views. Don't tell me to move on thanks.

Sorry i apologize i miss read you for a minute thought you were taking a shot at me.

Thanks for all the help friends

Due to the problem of my current system being solved, I stopped buying a new system for at least the next 2 years!
Windows 10 freezes when entering the desktop screen

The next system with Intel Ultra series.

Happy you got your issue resolved.

I usually build every 4-5 years as my last build was done in 2019. Was going to build a new system this year but will push it off to next year. I'm sticking with Intel.

Anyway, good luck - whatever you decide to do
