Best Ram for X570-F Gaming with no overclock.

I just bought Rog Strix X570-F Gaming and 3700x. I don't want to overclock Ram. I want every part of my pc running at stock speeds. According to Asus' site the max frequency I can get is 2666mhz if I don't want overclock Ram(right?) . So the 3200 frequency kit is not compatible with the mobo? If I want to achieve 3200mhz I have to get a lower frequency kit and overclock it?

The faster memory may work on that mobo but only at the maximum speed supported. A quote from crucial.com:
    About adding faster memory ...
It may seem confusing, but faster memory will not necessarily make your system faster. You can't speed up your computer by adding faster memory if any of the other components in your computer (your processor or other memory modules) operate at a slower speed.
Keep in mind, that the right memory for your computer is the kind of memory it was designed to take. Check your system manual or look up your system in the Crucial Memory Advisor or System Scanner tools to find the memory guaranteed to be 100 percent compatible or your money back!

As for the type of memory, DDR can't be used in place of DDR2 can't be used in place of DDR3 can't be used in place of DDR4, etc. The modules physically fit only in the slots they are designed for. Even the SODIMM for Notebooks are slightly different, have a similar notch to prevent interchanging.

Mine as got great performance, Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB @ 3000 MHz and I’m using the same motherboard as you.

I have the same mobo + cpu as the OP, with 4*8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX.

The default settings gave my RAM a speed of 2133. I did a Cinebench test, then upped the freq to 3000. A CB test at 3000 was marginally lower than the score at 2133, so I switched back to default (auto) 2133.

BTW, I actually use my pcs for Cinema 4D rendering, so the CB scores matter to me.

When you say 3000mhz you mean overclocked? Or stock dimms @3000mhz?

There stock dimms @ 3000mhz, I’m not a fan of overclocking.

Thanks for your answer. Well I got 4 dimms @3200mhz. Will I have to enable the xmp profile and stuff, or it's done automatically? I don't know anything of bios settings xmp profiles etc. Will it be easy?

    "Well I got 4 dimms @3200mhz."
That is probably just selected stock 2133 MHz chips with an overvoltage like 1.35v or 1.5v and slower latencies, and tested at those voltages and latencies.
    That is overclocking.

However, you should note the comments in post #4, it is not just about clock speed.

Overclocking involves overvolting which in turn increases power dissipation in the memory modules which will run hotter, this shortens life and maybe less reliable as it is being used outside of it's design spec.
My DDR4 memory modules are 2666 MHZ at 1.2v which is what they are designed for.

On my MOBO there is an XMP switch, no point, as the XMP profiles are same as the JEDEC/PNP profiles.

The UEFI is extensive and no doubt you can fiddle about with voltages, latencies, frequency but why bother when the result is just not worthwhile.

No, just plug it in should work fine, the mobo supports 3200mhz so you should not need to do anything.
