CPU Bus Speed Question
Update: Well boys. Now this is definitely resolved! I simply renabled XMP (click off and on) and then clicked on 'No' when it asked me to enable BCLK preset 100,8. Something happened when I first enabled XMP when I sat up this computer, even though the BIOS tells me otherwise. Now I ran cpuz and it's now hovering around 100MHz, 99,5 - 100,03. Yay!
Original message: Hello. I ran CPU-Z today on a Intel 9700K Z390 system and noticed that the Bus Speed is not at 100MHz, but instead fluctuating between 100,73-100,83 MHz. I think the BCLK is higher or something sine the memory is running XMPs @3200MHz (I think it wanted me to increase it when enabling XMP). Is this something to be worried about? Should it be closer to 100,00? Or is this fine? I heard BCLKs is hard to get stable, so I wanted to ask here if anyone knows if this is OK. Thanks.
