The new $2,000 CDN (including 16% sales tax) home for my EVGA FTW 1080. It includes these new parts:

    Attachment 98612

I certainly hope it's happy in it's PCI e 3.0 lane with lots of room to breathe. Seems to be. I have that Asus Maximus VIII formula changing colors every few seconds. The windowed case is what both this MB and graphic card are designed for.

    Attachment 98613

    Attachment 98615

    Attachment 98616

PS: Doom seems to like this new setup.
That looks like my ideal PC.

    Good work there specialkone

Thanks, Doogie. Had a few guys over yesterday. Was telling them about the components, but they are focused on the light show the Asus MB and EVGA FTW 1080 are providing.

OK, I think it is quite spectacular myself but hey we are all hardcore gamers. I fire up Doom and then Witcher 3. Now, with this system I even have "Hair works everything" enabled on Witcher 3, Geralt, monsters and animals.

Nope, two out of three are still focused on the light show. . And these are my gaming friends.

@worf105 There are brackets that you can buy to solve the GPU sag issue. Your Zotac is featured on this site:

Mnpctech Single GTX 1080 Ti GPU Support Bracket, Non-Reference, Black

Thanks badrobot, the cost including shiping to the UK is just under £60 when I last checked. Far to expensive for me.

I have a gold RAM that doesn't match with my new White-Blue-Black case and this is what I did (hide it under a G-Skill RAM cooler)...
