    I paid for the Steam version. See no need to pay for the stand alone version as well.

    Anyway the program appears to not like my overclocks on my Skylake system, even though they're modest at best.... 4.3OC, from 4.0. 100Mhz increase in GPU speed, from 1000 to 1100. Didn't have this issue running my Haswell system, with the same GPU (Sapphire Tri X R9 Fury), but somehow Fire Strike balks on my Skylake system when overclocked. Hmmm...
