I just installed the new bios and was going to reset my overclock settings, but decided to run at default for awhile since the new bios is still beta. I don't notice any difference from my previous overclock (was only overclocked to 4.9) so wondering if I should bother overclocking again. Any advice? Thanks

I reset all my stuff up, specially brought the voltages down, as my cpu can run 5GHZ well using 1.2 volts with +0.170 offset, and I set VCCIO and VCCSA to 1.1v keeps the temps and fan rpms down.

Thanks Cliff. I might try those settings. Haven't run mine at 5GHZ before. Where are the offset settings located and the VCCIO etc. I have so many pages printed out for the bios settings....lol

You're welcome, just know that; my CPU is an 8 core 9900K and I totally won the silicone lottery, with a chip at least in the top 5% for over clocking and undervolting.

Here is mine, so I might not be able to achieve 5GHZ without some issues.
    CPU: i7 8700K Processor OC 4.9Hz 1.200 vcore
Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus X Hero Z370
    Memory: 32 GB G Skill Ripjaws DDR4 3200

So far I am running at 5GHZ with no issues as yet.
