Question for people who have claimed success by disabling SMB2/3. Are you saying ALL shares can be accessed or just NAS/Linux shares?

I have just discovered that if I am logged into a Local account rather than an MS account, ALL shares (win 10 comps AND NAS) can be seen and accessed.

No idea why this would be, though!

    Can others confirm?

I'm only using a local account and I cannot see my NAS nor my Mac unless I disable SMB2/3, then I can see all shares

This fix COMPLETELY SOLVED ALL my...
    1) Computers disappearing/reappearing on the network.
    2) All Shares are accessible on ALL Computers (and from all computers).
    3) It even seems to have improved speed of accessing the shares (for me) from before the problem.

All my NINE PCs are Windows 10 32-bit (PRO and Home)...100BaseT wired connections for all PCs except
the remote Garage PC which is 150 feet from the house on a G Wireless connection.
I only login using a LOCAL Account.

Tried the fix by disabling as above. Only result was to stop this computer from accessing any shared files. any attempt to click on other network computers just brought up Access denied message.

    Internet access working fine

Yep...Some have a different problem...But this fix works for a lot of people...I'm assuming you did the fix on all your PCs on your network and rebooted them and that you are using a LOCAL login for all your PCs...If so then you have a different problem.

Apparently the problem come from build 1511 because it use samba 3, so you have to disabled like that :

Command prompt / administrator and type two lines together like that :

    sc.exe config lanmanworkstation depend= bowser/mrxsmb10/nsi
    sc.exe config mrxsmb20 start= disabled

    clic on enter

This run for me, I can see all my mapped PC now, windows XP, windows 10 and thresold
