When Remote Desktop connected from a Win7 client to a Surface Pro 3 with Win 10 Anniversary and the screen blanks there are noticeable keystroke delays. It acts like the machine is in sleep mode and wakes to process the key stroke and re-enters sleep. All sleep configuration options seem to have been removed with the anniversary update to Win 10. I should note that using Powercfg /a shows that all sleep modes are not supported with this firmware. One other observation in the same configuration with the screen blanked on the Surface Pro 3 there is about 15% CPU activity observed with the task Manager on the Win 7 client. Activating the Surface Pro 3 screen but touching the display or moving the mouse drops the CPU activity to about 1% almost immediately.
