tried a lot, never did something like this before, really unconfortable to set. i write there as my homework

two possibilities, pc discovering and file sharing have to be enabled...

    - create a local account DUMMY (just saying), create a folder, give permissions to DUMMY only (and admins obv), share the folder, give your friend the password of DUMMY account to access the pc through network resources.
as the folder is accessible by DUMMY account only and, then, by people having DUMMY's password you get what you want. this method is exposed to unwanted accesses if you use same account and pwds on your pcs for whatever reason...

    - create a homegroup, use the sharing pane to select the microsoft account you want to exclusive share with.
this is a one click work, but ms account can be limiting

Have you looked under share permissions?

    Add principal \Remote\User

Create a user for those shares on the machine and when they want to connect to them, they have to use that Network Username. Otherwise get a NAS and then you can share them off of the network, not a computer. In this day and age with the price of hard drives and NAS being so cheap, there really is no need to keep documents and other things on a computer. Especially that you can end up losing them if something happens.

I have three Intel Core 2 Duo's that are sitting doing nothing that are used as NAS. All that you need is a Raspberry Pi and a USB pocket drive to act like a NAS for file sharing. As for your hard drives having space, again you have to remember that if the drive goes or you do not have a separate partition on the drive for storage, you will lose everything in the folders on the OS partition.

NAS are below $100 these days. The pi3 and a USB pocket drive can be had for under $100.
