Windows 10 : Internet Connection Problems, unable to revert to Win 7

    Hi all,

I've recently been upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 Ultimate, and something I've noticed has been that my internet has been extremely unreliable since I have done so. I update all my drivers on my PC just in case. I got really fed up of trying different fixes and decided screw it, I'll revert back to Windows 7 Ultimate and when I tried I got a notification saying that the files to revert to Windows 7 are missing. I am really annoyed but whatever I can deal with it. I got forced into updating (no I didn't have auto updates on and I didn't ask for Windows 10), my wifi connection has got to hell and now they are telling me that I can't go back to Windows 7 Ultimate.

So I have a few questions:
    • How do I fix this internet connection problem?
    • How do I go back to Windows 7?

For fixing the internet connection thing, so far I've tried: updating the drivers to my Belkin USB and I've tried changing the power settings so it doesn't automatically power off the USB port.

    Thanks in advance,
    ParadAUX

You have 30 days after doing the upgrade to Windows 10 to revert back. If you have any third party security software, that can cause problems when trying to connect to the Internet. Your Ethernet or WiFi device driver would be the only thing that could cause this, along with third party security software.

I would try a Clean Install of Windows 10, instead of trying to do the upgrade, along with turning off your Gateway and back on to flush it of any prior connection information.
