    windows 10 saving password problem

Why when I upgraded my laptop to windows 10,it does not save password to connect to the internet? It has connect automatically and place to put password in,but if I restart laptop I have to still add password every time.In windows 7 it saved it and I would just hit connect. How can I fix this? Also I`m running windows 10 pro and in user accounts,it doesn`t have manage your network passwords,in the left panel like I googled and says it`s suppose to have. How can I fix this?

you have to explain what you are talking about, post a screenshot.
there is no "same network passwords" anywhere in windows so i dont know what you are referring to.

do you mean dialup internet or DSL were you type in your PPPOE username each time you connect?
as for network passwords, or LAN passwords you have to actually click the box that says remember my password which is in the same box you type your network (LAN) username and password.

Windows also doesnt remember your login password either unless you use a little tool in windows called 'netplwiz' which lets you tell windows to automatically log in a user and not prompt for password.

Windows 10 also doesnt have the old Windows 7 style user accounts screen, its completely different, so again i have no idea what you are talking about when you say anything about user accounts screen showing anything about saving passwords.... windows doesnt do that by default. and frankly i have never seen any such setting in any version of windows. you have to tell windows right then and there when you type your password in to log in to save it.

you may also need to go here - Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Credential Manager
and click both categories of credentials and click the one that applies to what ever you are speaking of and tell it to delete it. then it will remove any incorrect stored passwords that may be causing all this.

Yeah when I boot up my laptop and want to get on the internet by signing in on my wireless router I keep having to typing the password in instead of it remembering it,and I have the box checked to logon automatically, but it still doesn`t keep it.

I am having the same problem on my Father-in-law's laptop.
It will not connect to his home network automatically. You have to click connect and then input the passcode in every time it boots up.

go into your wireless settings and disconnect form the wifi
then make sure 'Connect Automatically' is checked and uncheck it. connect, wait a minute, disconnect, then tell it to Connect automatically and see what it does.
Also if you scroll down the 'Network and Internet' setting page there are numerous other options.
One of them is 'Manage Wifi Settings'.
scroll until you see yours and tell it to 'Forget'
then resan for wifi, click yours, make sure Connect Automatically is checked, type in your passphrase, and then reboot and see if it connects again without making you type it in.

Windows 7 would do the same thing sometimes and the only way out of it was to reboot your router all the time or tell it to forget your wifi, then rescan for wifi, connect and type in the password again.

also go into your Wifi Properties and make sure your connection is set to auto connect.

Sounds like it was a problem on other versions too. Father in law brought over his laptop and it remembered my network passward. Will see if it remembers his when he gets back home.
