Strange problem getting to 1 computer on the network, but not the othr
There are 3 computers on the network:
computer names:
Wired - Main, and Tower
Wireless - ASUS
So Main can communicate to the other two.
Tower can communicate to the other two.
ASUS can only communicate to Main, but not Tower.
The network diagnostics comes up with what I find to be a common issue: 4
And going into the details I find:One or more network protocols are missing on this computer
I've tried some of the things I've found on this error, such as netsh winsock reset, and a couple others. I found some that had info on editing the registry, which I have not attempted as of yet.Windows Sockets registry entries required for network connectivity are missing
So, I find it interesting that the ASUS (on wireless) can communicate with one of the computers but not the other, and the others have no problem communicating.
Thought I'd check to see what folks think here before I chase too many attempts.
Thoughts?
