    printer problem

Not sure if this is the right area to post this question.
Recently upgraded from W7 to W10. No problem there. But I am having some problems with my printer. It prints everything except files from Publisher. The Publisher program is old, it came with Microsoft Office 2000.
I tried re-installing Publisher, with same results. And of course, I re-booted everything, but again, nothing.
Is it somehow because W10 doesn't recognize an older program?
    Thanks in advance

What are the symptoms/messages you get from Publisher? I've put Office 2000 on a Win10 computer without issue yet but do have to make sure it is picking up the Default printer when going to File, Print. Doesn't hurt to check Control Panel, Devices and Printers to see what is set as default [green checkmark].

The message says Publisher is looking for a second disc/CD which holds additional data for the program. Is your drive E: the Optical drive? Did your version come with 2 discs? Some don't and I have seen [several years ago] where a vendor didn't include both discs when ordered with a computer.

All office 2000 products are no longer supported and Microsoft has started to block them from being able to use backwards compatibility with current software. Upgrade to Publisher 2010 or 2013, which you can still get from places.

Is there a different program/software that will print out my publisher files? The Publisher program works fine, its just that i cant print out my work. I make my own calendars.

Can you save the calendar file as a .pdf type file? Print the .pdf file from your PDF reader

Drat! I have Publisher 2010 and it has the choice to save as a .pdf
Well an another workaround could be to do a screen capture and save it as an image file such as .jpg or .gif
Print the image with whatever image software you use.
The error message indicates that a clipart is missing. Does that file folder exist with the PFiles on drive E?

I tried a screen capture and snipping tool captures, but when I print the calendar out, it only fills about 3/4 of a sheet of paper.
The disk does contain clip art pics.
I'll try screen capture again and fiddle around with sizes?
