Windows 8.1 pro to Windows 10 home.

Update my 8.1 pro with Windows 10. Been having nothing but problems with the internet, keep losing protocols. I have tried everything I could find on the forum. Nothing helps. Today I did a factory restore, then a new update to Windows 10. Boom, missing protocols. Could it be because I am going from Pro to home? Can it be fixed?

You have to go from pro to PRO. If you want to do an install of Windows 10 home you must have a Windows 8.1 key, or Windows 8.1 "home" on your computer. And using a Windows 8.1 key means doing a clean install of Windows.

You can download the Windows 10 ISO using the media creation tool, and either burning the ISO to a DVD or copying to a USB drive.

It can be fixed by downloading the Pro version of 10 and installing. You can download the ISO of the latest user build from Microsoft.com
