    IPV6 connectivity problems

Are there any people around here with IPV6 experience? I've got a Fritzbox 7490 and my provider supports IPV6 by a 6RD tunnel. I'm pretty sure that the connection to the provider works since the Fritzbox web interface shows IPV6 as "connected" and it also shows an address and a prefix. But no IPV6 addresses are assigned to clients (Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and Linux Mint 17.2 64 bit VM) and I can neither ping nor trace anything using the IPV6 protocol (makes no difference if I try on the Windows host or the VM). Ipconfig on the host shows no IPV6 address and ifconfig on the VM leads to the same result. Anybody got an idea why?

Ok, now I'm sure. I connected by ssh to the router and used ping6 to see if ipv6.google.com responds. It did so ipv6 connectivity is definitely there as much as the router is concerned. But why does it not distribute ipv6 addresses to the clients?

Never mind, I found the reason myself. IPV6 was disabled in the registry. Don't ask me why it was disabled but changing the value "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip6\Parameters\DisabledComponents" to zero fixed the issue on both, the host and the Linux VM.
