    Whats the best Torrent program?

I have been using bitlord, but I'm thinking of going to another torrent program. So which is the best?

None. Torrents have every chance of being infected junk, plus for the most part are usually illegal anyway.

Not sure about the second part. I believe, as I see it, torrents are legal. They are used by quite respectable organisations. It is what can be downloaded from all those peers, without your knowledge, which is the catch 22.

That can never happen, users share only files, which are part of the torrent.
As for the infected torrents, they have to be downloaded from a trusted tracker.
In 10 years I have seen only 2 infected torrents, one was fake and other hacker tools.

This is totally wrong, most Linux distros are downloaded via Torrents. The best torrent IMHO is utorrent 2.2.1 Build 25154

    uTorrent 2.2.1 Build 25154 - OldVersion.com

Although the basic principle of torrents is good and also legal, the actual content of the majority of files transferred using the method is less than legal.

Because of this fact we as an organisation cannot recommend their use, the files for legitimate items for Linux distros and the like should come with MD5 Hashes so should be Ok but even this is not guaranteed.

Deluge is a lot better than uttorent. I have switched to it 2 years ago, never looked back.

Barman58: some might argue many of the "features" of Microsoft's Windows 10, both "basic principle" and "the actual content" are less than legal. It's just that nobody has the balls to take it to court, except the European Commission. Still waiting for them to act...

davehc: I have not seen a PC infected from "torrents" in ages. It looks like most malicious "torrent" catalog sites have been put down, and the few remaining actually clean their "offers".
