Microsoft's answer to Win10 wireless USB router connection problems

If Windows 10 does not recognize your wireless USB adapter then you MUST use an ethernet cable to connect directly to the internet to resolve wireless connection issues; there is no other way.
I should qualify this by saying my particular problem is with a Panda PAU06 wireless USB adapter which is Windows 10 compatible and PnP. Win 10 does not recognize it at all.
I realize there are other wireless USB adapters which may have other issues but if your adapter is not recognized by Win 10 then there are no adjustments or fixes to correct the problem without going online from the affected computer. You cannot simply download a driver to a flash drive on another computer and then use it to fix your computer that has the problem.
In the case of the Panda it is a new model that is Windows 10 compatible.

It's a Wireless USB Adapter, not a wireless USB Router, by the way. The Router is what the Wireless USB Adapter connects too. Aside from using a cable, you could also just buy a Wireless USB adapter that works with Windows 10. Why can't you download a driver to a flash drive on another computer and then use it to fix your computer that has the problem?

There are a lot of devices that Microsoft does not keep drivers for in their hardware database. You always have to have the installer on hand for any device, regardless if Windows recognizes it or not.

    Not exactly true Art,
Belkin usb's actually use Ralink adapted drivers,
( I changed my FD8053 to the parent driver RT2870 coz of the problems the Belkin ones gave me)
Independant makers probably including Panda use what i call Child versions.

If you can determine which is the parent for that driver then you can use the update driver facility within W7.
