WiFi USB dongle query
I am supposed to be getting broadband download speeds of about 110mbps from my provider. Unfortunately my wifi is very laggy and I never get these speeds and only manage about 60mbps on average. My PC is not inbuilt wifi so I have always used a USB dongle.
Someone said the weak spot in my system cutting the speeds could be my wifi USB dongle which shows as a
Realtek 8811CU Wireless LAN 802.11. I have followed some instructions online and have checked through my Windows 10 Network settings and I can see on the screen it gives speed as 72mbps. So, does that mean that 72mbps is the MAXIMUM speed that I can expect to get with this particular dongle??
If "yes" is the answer, can anyone advice me of a dongle that might be sensitive enough to receive 110 mbps or more???
My Windows 10 is Home Edition version 22H and build 19045.4291
Thanks in advance for any help.
