    Question regarding interference with Ethernet Cable.


    Just got 30 ft. of CAT 6 Ethernet Cable. Have to run this from Router/Modem/ Wi-Fi to my laptop. Cable will come close to AC power line extension. If the power line and Cable are being used at the same time, any idea if there will be interference in the cable?

    CAT 6 is shielded and should be free from interference.
