    I feel your pain. Serious. For my internet and phone I pay about 94 a month US.

    Makes no difference, old copper wires and I am far away from the exchange

    Due to be upgraded to fibre by this time next year

    2015 for me is super fast BB and Windows 10, going to be a good year

    We have Fiber in our area.. and quite a bit of the country.

    in my area here the ISP's have zero interest in improving coverage, so living in rural area they don't care

    luckily a scheme which I think is government funded is going to get more places onto fast BB, the expected speed for me is going to be somewhere between 20 to 25 (slow compared to many, but a lot better than 1)

    I guess I shouldn't complain too much about 5GHz WiFi for about 30 US bucks.

    During the night it goes up to 15/3
    Thing that annoys me is that main fiber optic cable goes literary next to my front yard but closest service is downtown, about 12 clicks away and no chance for at least couple of years to get it.
