Unable to change from PUBLIC to HOME Inet Connection after........

Ref: Upgraded to WIN10 from WIN7 Home Premium - then Standard BB to Fibre with SKY - (Home user).

    Hi All,
Having recently first upgraded to WIN10 as above on my Medion Laptop and everything working fine - I then reached my upgrade date for FIBRE and this following problem arose......

At first - my Inet settings showed as "Home" connection which was as it should be, but I had problems getting my Router to accept my password, and only getting partial optimisation.
Having eventually got this to accept pw - I now find that I am showing as "Public" Inet connection, and I can't find how to switch this back to "Home" - on WIN10.

I would appreciate a heads up how to do this please, in user friendly fashion.

    Thanks

    Hi,
Welcome to the forums, go to Settings, Network and Internet, find Advanced Options( in WiFi tab around middle of the page) at the next screen, Find Devices and Content, Off radio button for Public, On for Private. HTH.

EDIT: There's a tutorial in this forum, I forgot to mention:Network Location - Set to Private or Public in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

    Hi,
    Just the job!

I am still very much coming to terms with WIN10 besides being a relative novice at the tender age of 70+, so you have my heartfelt thanks:)
