Wifi doesn't show Home's wifi but show neighbouring wifi(s)

    If you use the a command prompt or powershell and type ipconfig /all Enter, what do you see for DNS servers? Are they local numbers (192.168.x.x)?

    There is another post on this Forum with similar issues who claims they have traced it to a DNS issue

    Thanks, i tried that command too and this is what i get :

    Your image shows no DNS configuration so this is why you have no internet access. My suggestion would be for you reboot your modem and your router if you have one in that order and see if that may resolve the issue.

    This is actually done everyday, cuz when i go to sleep i turn off the router.

    But what's more infuriating is that the problem is now fixed by itself. I came home and the wi-fi is working. I Just don't understand what exactly the problem is. Now that i tried that command again, it's showing DNS and other stuff on both the Ethernet and the Wi-Fi.

    I'll mark this topic as solved again.
