I left AT&T last fall because they only offered 50mbps Service where I live. Spectrum is 450mbps where I am now......Speed and bandwidth is why I switched......I also cut the cord and I am streaming everything now. Wouldn't be much streaming if I switched back.....

Give me some more information. What days and times?

Have any neighbors using Spectrum been affected?

Everyone around me has DirectTV. Like I said, days vary but it's always the same hour slot that it goes out. Today it may be 4:15 pm and tomorrow it may be 4:55 or not at all. We never know. The only thing consistent is the time of day it goes out......

Wow. Then you need a tech from Spectrun with a inline scanner to check.
I don't think that it's coming from your premises.

    Very strange.

Do you have any kids that like to play tricks?

No, my boys get angry every time the internet goes down. I know it's not them. And my wife is having to work from home now so when it goes down she is not getting paid......so.......Gonna mark this solved, thanks to everyone who tried to help!

Don't mark it solved until you let us know what's going on with your ISP!!

    Totally agree with Jacee!

    Don't you want it resolved?
You need to reach out to a senior engineer at this point, not a simple level one tech.

Call corporate HQ and don't relent.

Been with Spectrum for 3 years (Spring Hill TN - south of Nashville) and the exact thing happens to me normally 2 to 3 times a day. Morning, noon, and in the evening. TV still works, but Internet just drops. Modem light is still solid blue, but no internet. Usually back in a minute or so. On occasion the modem blue light is blinking indicating a restart.. Most times, it's just solid blue. There are days (very few) that it hasn't dropped, maybe because I wasn't involved in an activity that required a constant connection.

I've had the modem replaced (5 or 6 times), new routers, splitters replaced, new line ran from pole (under the driveway) to the house, modem connected outside the house and monitored.. and still happens daily. Of course, never when their is a tech at the house. Yet EVERY TIME a tech comes out, it's like they have no knowledge of the past issues.

Mostly noticed while on a zoom call, Teams call, Xbox.. basically any activity that requires a constant connection.

I've even run the xbox directly to the modem, bypassing the router, and it will still drop. I've learned to live with it, but yeah, it sucks!

my Hitron cable modem from spectrum is doing the same thing, what I have been able to find there is something wrong
with an Intel Puma 6 chipset if that means anything to anyone. It has something to do with Docis 3.1 working with 3.0.

Sorry for the long quote -- new at this. And.... I have the same problem as you: Spectrum internet goes down for about 8 minutes daily at about the same (evening) time. All comes back on its own, Spectrum cable TV never gets affected. Replaced everything, no help. Spectrum tech is no help. Am I committed to a lifetime of this?? Whine, whine....
