How do I make an ad-hoc network with Windows 10?

Well ... my router just broke. But at least I still have a working WiFi card in my machine. Only problem is, my mother can't get on Facebook to play Candy Crush or whatever she does on there. So, how do I set up an ad-hoc network that actually works around the house?

I don't have a wifi card in my computer but you can usually get to the settings by searching for "ad hoc" in search.
