    oohhh very nifty.
its the same thing that I mentioned about forgetting/deleting the wifi network but ensures there are no garbage files left over.

good for you for finding the solution

This laptop had problems connecting automatically after I took it to a relative's house and used their WiFi, then came back home to this network.

But I don't know if it was a problem with the computer, or something that occasionally happens with the router where I need to reboot it.

Next time, I'll pay attention to the phone. Normally when this happens, I can't get the WiFi signal to work on the phone, either, but I didn't check this time.

The autoconnect works fine again, at least now.

I had the same problem, searched all the forums with no applicable Win 10 solution.

Solved the issue by going to Device Manager, selecting the wireless adaptor, and updating the driver. Issue went away, works great now.

Found the solution: and works and now have the wireless properties button too.

open search, type "services.msc" open services.
Scroll down to "wlan auto config" right click, stop the service.

    Navigate to
"C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Wlansvc\ delete everything in this folder leaving only a folder called "profiles" delete everything in the "profiles" folder except for a folder called "interfaces" delete everything in the "interfaces" folder)

Restart "wlan auto config" connect to your wireless network, enter
your passkey, (ensure the connect automaticly box is checked)

Restart your computer job done, your computer will now connect to your wireless network automaticly on boot.

This didn't work for me. Still no "wireless properties" button
