    Homegroup Lost in Upgrade

Upgraded to Windows10. It tells me there IS homegroup and enter the password. When I try it tells me there is NO homegroup found. Ideally I'd like to just set up a new homegroup but I see no option to do that. In the alternative I'll take the old one but that isn't that allowed either.

I did this on two upgraded computers that used to be in the same homegroup.

Solution. Computer is Win Pro. I had to convince Windows it was personal computer and please desist with the nanny state. It took a bit but I won. All devices are now connected including the tablet.

Would you kindly describe the exact steps you took to accomplish this?

I don't recall. I tend to try everything until something works. Not a lot of help. I had to convince it I wanted a HomeGroup, not a WorkGroup. I did some searches just now and found this:
    Can - Microsoft Community
Note they say you can't change it so I must have added it. Once I did whatever I did it picked up the existing HomeGroup and let this computer back as a member.
Sorry I can't be more specific.
