    Utorrent and Windows 10

    Hi All,
Anyone having issues with utorrent 3.2.2 and 2.2.1 and the network icon on bottom right corner of utorrent?
Since Windows 10 the Network icon is switching from yellow icon "no incoming connections" to the green icon "ok" continuously. My ports are showing open and utorrent is setup as always to work fine but not in Windows 10 it seems
This is causing my torrents to be active and having connections downloading from me one min and then all "inactive" and nobody connecting. Very annoying
I tried both builds and getting the same results.
Greatly appreciate any input in this issue.
Seems I am finding bugs in Windows 10 every day. So I am dealing with each, one at a time lol.

    cheers

My Bittorrent works fine, I would suggest maybe running Utorrent in compatibility mode as windows 8 or 7. You can also try creating an exception (if it hasn't already) in the firewall settings.

well I spent quite a bit of time with different solutions and have yet to figure out why the network icon keeps changing from green to yellow. At one point Windows decided to block utorrent 3.2.2 build 28500 from installing (this is after I already installed the same file several times over the past few days) so I spent a lot of time trying to get that unblocked from UAC. I even logged in under "Administrator" and was able to follow instructions to install version 3.2.2 and was successful only to log back in to user account and find it still blocked. So that was a waste of time Why it done that is a MS mystery I guess. I had to revert back to version 2.2.1.
I have tried all compatibility modes and running as administrator, and have the exceptions and rules set in ESET Smart security the same way I always do it. Port got the green light in the router on "canyouseeme.org" although when the icon is yellow the test in utorrent says it's not open lol.
I followed the instructions in this Forum here to try to unblock a program and none of them worked. I also tried many from google search with no luck. So I gave up on version 3.3.2 for now.
Booted the computer this morning and so far I have the green light but it's too soon to get excited. Not going to touch anything until it changes :)
If I find a solution that works I shall post back here.

    cheers

You can get v3.2.3 from the link below (free) that works in Windows 10 and does not give you a "blocked" problem when installing due to the certificate being revoked. Installed it right over my old install with no problems. There are a few versions to choose from.
