Clean up after unistalling M/S Office

I have tried the option reinstall Windows and keep my data but have not found that solve any problems.

I would do a clean install of Windows. Select custom and delete all existing partitions so the only thing left is all unallocated space. The start the Windows install. The setup will handle everything and create new partitions for you.

Remember since a clean install totally wipes your drive you need to have all your data backed up. Also, you need to find drivers from the manufacturer and setup programs for every program you want to run on the computer.

Your personal data is most important to back up. You need to do that ASAP. You can either locate the drivers and program setup downloads or CDs now or wait until after the Windows installation. That is your choice.

I know all this seem a lot to comprehend but we were all beginners once. The important thing is to do things a step at a time and try not to rush things.

As you have ALL your files backed up, I would personally go for a Clean Install, although you will however, need to re-install any programs. This will give you a nice fresh clean OS in which to start with. It is a better option than spending time to try and correct the one you have and then end up having to Clean Install it at the end of the day anyway.

If you don't write VBA code for use within those MSOffice applications then LibreOffice will do everything you need.

LibreOffice is pretty similar to old versions of MSOffice - see their sample screenshots.

LibreOffice Portable - LibreOffice.Org
LibreOffice grew out of OpenOffice and is now said to be the better supported & more frequently updated one.

There are lots of others. WPSOffice, for example.
The thing you'd find difficult would be finding an alternative to MSOffice Outlook but that's not relevant to your needs.
Just search online for alternative to MS Office or similar if there's some reason you don't like LibreOffice.
