I was using Office 2010. Upgraded to 365. Everything went smoothly but I am missing 3 personal folders. All of the standard files are there along with 2 personal folders, but 3 personal folders are missing. Can anyone tell me if there is a way of getting them back. I did save the Outlook files to a stick before I installed 365. I am using Windows 10.
Where were the folders originally located? Were they on that computer, Onedrive, a Network share?
The personal tabs were on this computer. We do not use One Drive or a server.
Sorry for being non technical about my description in trying to answer your question. The personal files that I am talking about are the files that you add to the left hand side on the Outlook main screen where all the default files are like, Inbox, Deleted, Outbox, Drafts, etc. We have 4 or 5 more that we use that do show up, but 3 are missing after the upgrade to 365. as you have at last explained what program you are referring to, the a screenshot of what folders you see now would assist. Ideally, also one showng what you used to see, but I realise that may be tricky! Instead, identify the missing folder names.
Those are not files they are folders. If the email account is not a imap account, they stay with the previous outlook profile. If not a exchange account, they again stay with the previous outlook profile.
I found the folders and files in the archive folder. Thanks guys.
