    IMAP folder sync issue

I've been suffering with what I now believe are IMAP folder sync issues for years
When I have to re-add my email accounts (rebuild, migration etc.) it manifests by missing folders/emails
I've established that if I move a folder then it's not likely to sync
It appears correct in Outlook365 but can't be seen in webmail or IMAP folders
Executing 'Update folder list' or send/receive doesn't help at all
If I create the folder in Outlook and copy the emails then it appears to sync correctly
Is it me or has Outlook always been shite with IMAP folders?
    I can copy from a PST file but's it's laborious and I don't know straightway what's missing
Until, if ever, this is fixed it's a PITA to keep checking IMAP folders is updated correctly
    Any comments would be welcome!

It's really hard to know exactly what you want so check my posts below....

    1. POP, IMAP, and STMP settings; however you need to use the settings your email provider requires.
    2. See posts 4 and 6 here - Moving everything in Outlook 365 to a new computer
    3. Setup email accounts manually (post #2) - How do you change server/port setting in Outlook 365?. Remember, you need to use the server settings of the email provider.

Sorry for all the links but it's easier then re-writing it here and posting all the images again. Let me know if you have more questions or I can be of further help (of if I helped at all).
