    Hi, have you seen:
[Full Guide] How to Fix Windows Installation Error 0x80300001? - MiniTool Partition Wizard

    changed to MBR
    - are you really planning to install as legacy BIOS? Is that what your BIOS/UEFI is configured as?

    Tried restoring from Hasleo backup
    - presumably an image of the O/S on this PC?

Can't work out what's happening, it started installing W10 but stopped and complained it was MBR, so changed to GPT now it says it needs to be MBR really confused
Also it refuses to create the partition error oxbbd19F50

This guide aims to fix the error "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI system, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks."

Should the boot drive SSD be unallocated before installing windows ?
More precisely, the normal situation is that Windows is installed to unallocated space on the target disk. E.g. there could be a data partition present.

Make sure that you get the 4.4 Edition and verify your offline image first.

When using Command Prompt to fix boot-related issues, it is common to face the “bootrec /fixboot Access is denied” error. There are many possible reasons for this problem to occur on your computer. In this video, i will help you troubleshoot this error.

    Reset BIOS or load defaults.
Set Disk mode to AHCI, not RAID
    Select OS mode = UEFI
Disable fast boot and secure boot (you can turn it on after installation)

Windows can be installed in two ways: Legacy-MBR or UEFI-GPT
To install as Legacy-MBR you must boot the installation drive as Legacy
To install as UEFI-GPT you must boot the installation drive as UEFI.

As you have a UEFI BIOS, you should install as UEFI-GPT
Detach any other drives (SATA or Power cable) from the MB.

During POST, press F12(?) to launch the boot menu. You will see two options for the USB drive. USB UEFI (Name) and USB (Name). Select USB UEFI (Name).
Go to install and delete ALL partitions on the main drive till you have one and only one unallocated space and then proceed.
If you don't want to use MS account, don't enable updates or connect to the internet during installation.
