Win 10 Won't Boot After latest Update

    NoLthing changed with the new batteries. Of course, the manuals are on the machine that isn't working.

    Haven't got a wired keyboard.

    So, I unplugged the machine, waited a bit then plugged it back in. Restarted and it booted. Should I still reset the BIOS?

    No, but check the BIOS date and time. Are they correct? If not, set them to correct date and time and repeat your unplug experiment again. If date and time become wrong, you need to replace CMOS battery.

    This can mean:
    - Fast start files were corrupted
    - Your CMOS battery is discharged and need to be replaced.

    Download, extract and run HDInfo . It's a portable, don't need to be installed.
    Under Sensors find VBat. If it is below 3.0V, replace it.
