W10 21H2 will not install on a 240GB GPT device.
I used Disk Partition to Clean my new internal 240 GB SSD (Installed on a H110Pro MB). I formatted it as a GPT disk using Disk Management and all is well until I try to install Windows 10 21H2 from a USB drive that I created using the Microsoft Creation Tool. I have to boot the USB drive as USB. If I choose the UEFI Partition 1 option the system hangs. The USB drive is a Lexar 16GB formatted as Fat32. Windows 10 21H2 will install if I Delete all the stuff that was created when I formatted the SSD using Disk Management but... it always ends up as an MBR disk. The system in question currently boots from an old external 120GB SSD and is formatted as GPT!
I'm sure I have installed Windows may times using a Lexar 16GB USB drive and ended up with a GPT installation. I'm running out of ideas. Help would be greatly appreciated.
