is already out

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

so one can create official media for Windows 10 21H1 already

Been there, done that

One nice point is that the ISO the MCT makes for 21H1 is a little smaller that the previous one for 20H2. It will now fit on a single-layer DVD, again.

Also, if you make the USB for both x86 and x64 it will now fit on an 8GB USB again.

Yes, I was happy to go back to a single layer DVD.

I am surprised they have not retired the x86 build.

MS have said that they will no longer release the x86 build to OEMs for their new machines, they must all use x64 now.

But they have also said they will continue to support x86 with cumulative updates, feature updates and install media for us non-OEM users.

Microsoft said:

Beginning with Windows 10, version 2004, all new Windows 10 systems will be required to use 64-bit builds and Microsoft will no longer release 32-bit builds for OEM distribution. This does not impact 32-bit customer systems that are manufactured with earlier versions of Windows 10; Microsoft remains committed to providing feature and security updates on these devices, including continued 32-bit media availability in non-OEM channels to support various upgrade installation scenarios.

Perhaps 21H1 contains fewer editions. My 64-bit American English version of 20H2 contains 11 editions as shown below:
