that VENTROY didnt work and undone all my work yesterday (as i had only one stick)
    wont boot
it creates an empty USB that I'm guessing you just drop the ISO's in as it says?
but on QEMU and on BOOT F12 it would not boot into its window of choices?
    what am I missing?

    thanks

That is strange. You normally just setup a blank or new USB, and then add the ISO's, Portable Apps etc!
I normally setup a folder with ALL these in ready to be copied, just in case the USB gets corrupted.

i read that USB3 can be a problem if its not setup with a driver for it (which i didn't see an option) so I've put it in a USB2 port and retrying now

yeah it was - put my USB3 stick in USB2 port and it worked - but what about the future when USB2 ports are a thing of the past, how do I install the USB 3 driver so it works on USB 3 ports?

worked a charm...even MINT loaded and wouldn't on RUFUS

It will save you a LOT of re-creation time in the future if ever the USB becomes corrupted or fails, PLUS, you have a Backup Folder in place already. You can Add and Remove files from Ventoy and the Backup Folder whenever you feel like it.

The ISO file you get by using Microsoft's own Media Creation Tool will work with FAT32:
