Reinstalling win10 on new hard drive
My hard drive on my pc has gone bad. I updated my win7 ultimate during major change to win 10. What do I do once I have replaced my hard drive.

My solution with a blank drive is to use MCT/Media Creation Tool on another computer to download the .iso file used to burn the install DVD or create a Bootable USB drive [8GB up to 32GB] to install from. Your Win10 Activation should still be good, is a Digital License stored with Microsoft, just go online to do it. As to the 32GB, that is a limit of FAT32 formatting that will be done while creating the Bootable USB Thumb drive, anything on the drive will be deleted permanently.
