    New build issue with installation

Hi all I just got my last few parts for my build and now am having trouble with the installation of the os and other needed things.
    I have a MSI z270-a pro motherboard
a msi gtx GeForce 8970 gpu
    i3-7100 7th gen cpu
    16 gb of ddr4 ram
and a current 1 tb ssd

these are all brand new and just arrived yesterday finally got time to build it everything is on and works until I got to the start screen it displays MSI and either boot menu F11 or bios setup DEL and both just lead to a black screen with a moveable mouse and nothing else

I do have a disk for the motherboard drivers and other files and I noticed a bios folder in ther along with the gpu has a disk and I still need to get a os on there but if theres no screen on either menu I don't see how I can get the os loaded on since I cant move or select anything I have a usb ready and am unsure if I need to transfer over the motherboard stuff first and then the os and then gpu or if theres another issue going on

im new at build so im just confused in general and I want to note that I have to hds one ssd and one basic hdd that was in my old desktop I was also unsure weather I could load the old one first and then just use that to get my os installed.

    Hi,
What did the original install come out of and which os ?

Remove all older hdds and clean install 10 on the new ssd would be best.
Connect the old hdds after the install and move what ever personal files you want too.

I have to install off of a usb and im going with windows 10 right now. im going to disconnect the hdd and just leave the ssd and see if that helps

Edit: im trying to install windows on the ssd but it just says "we couldn't create a partition or locate an existing one" my only option for install is this option labled drive 0 partition 2 along with refresh delete format and load driver. and in my bios after disconnecting my hdd my ssd isn't even showing up

2nd edit I installed win10 to the ssd its still not on the list of boot devices tho but didn't give me a partition error while the hdd was connected too. ive gotten to a point where it displays the msi gaming series screen asks what os im using windows 10 vol 7 or 3 and then gets services ready and the loads on a getting ready screen but it did that this morning from 7 to 10 and then freezing. it also looped back after getting ready and asked for what os im using again just to keep asking

last edit for a bit: win10 is on the ssd and I can boot it first now that it has a os on it but I get a error saying windows failed to start a recent hardware or software change might be the cause want me to repair my computer
status is 0xc000000f and info just says a required device isn't connected or cant be accessed

Currently I have only the ssd in my bios can see the device and I can change the boot order my error now is I get the message reboot or select proper boot device when the onlything in my boot order is my ssd which also has win10 os on it after much hassle of it not allowing me to install the os without the other hdd in but I finally worked around that and it installed win10 os right to the ssd but now just refuses to load windows.
