Are you able to boot into Safe mode? I have read that some people have boot into safe mode, uninstalled the NVIDIA drivers, then reboot and used Windows Update to install the new NVIDIA drivers. I'm just spit balling here. I'm guessing that your W10 install was successfully installed and you are just having driver issues seeing as you are able to display an image initially.
I think you are correct. The installation appears to had installed correctly at first as I successfully made it to the desktop the first time. I think it's an issue with the graphics drivers. I haven't tried to boot into safe mode yet but that will be my next step when I get off of work. I did boot to to my win 7 disk and try to have windows fix the issue with its repair service with no joy. Since the disk is still in my pc I'll just boot into safe mode from that disk when I get home and see if I can remove the nvidia driver. I'll update you on the progress when I get home. Thank you.

Another thing you might want to try is to physically remove the two graphics cards and plugging a monitor into the integrated graphics port on your MB's I/O panel. You may have to go into your BIOS and change your graphics source settings there as well.
Obviously this is a lot more work, so you may want to try other things first, but I think the goal is to get you into a successful W10 environment again. Once your there, you can then uninstall the NVIDIA drivers, reinstall them, and then reinstall your graphics cards, starting with one and then the other and then re-enabling SLI once you've got everything up and running properly.
I'm just trying to give you some different ideas.
Yea removing the gpus is definitely an option I've been considering as a last source. If possible I would like to find the option within the bios to disable the dedicated gpus and enable the onboard graphics. I've been unsuccessful so far in locating this option within my bios. I'll continue troubleshooting and keep you informed of the progress once I get home from work.
For some reason, it seams that W10 is not integrating the NVIDIA drivers properly, In my situation, I had updated the NVIDIA drivers to the latest 353.62 before doing the W10 upgrade. Even so, I still had to reinstall them after the upgrade in order to get my resolutions set to native. Fortunately, I never had to uninstall them. I just reinstalled them a second time... weird! Obviously, MS and NVIDIA have not resolved this known issue yet.
Good luck. I will check back here throughout the evening. If its worth anything, once you get it installed and working properly, it seems to be a great OS. All my games and programs and hardware, including an old HP printer, are all working as if the change never occurred. Perfect.
I'll dig into my BIOS and see if I can find the graphics source settings and let you know what its called on my ASUS board.

Okay, here is where the iGPU settings are located on my ASUS Sabertooth Z77 board.
Advanced>>>System Agent Configuration>>>Graphics Configuration>>>Primary Display
The 3 choices are Auto / iGPU / PCIE

I've also got the problem where it gets to 85% before hanging on a black screen (no cursor). Left it for hours yesterday, no dice. When it restarted during installation at about 75%, I very briefly noticed it saying something about a fatal error with something to do with AMD, so I'm certain it's the video driver issue everybody else seems to be having.
Has anybody figured out what to do if you don't have onboard graphics, or is there no choice but to wait it out for now?
I don't know if this will help, but I managed to find a windows page which helped me out. (I had the same black screen and error code 8007002C-4000D)

Basically I uninstalled my Anti-virus (Avast) and did a clean boot of my system. I downloaded it through the media creation tool on Microsoft's website. Everything went smoothly, and I'm just about to reactive and redownload my anti-virus.
Just follow the instructions there, and hopefully it should work again.
It's about half way down the page, and its actually under the heading: "0xC1900101-0x4000D - The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation"
Just Control+F for the error code you have, and the right set of instructions should appear

Used registry to "force" the download .
Files were downloaded in Windows Update, and followed it when it rebooted to do it's installing stuff.
The percentage thing was working fine, one circle I believe in the middle for overall percentage and 3 lines of text at bottom for individual steps.
After that, the screen went black, no cursor and nothing was happening. Waited for around 10 minutes, nothing happened.
Held my power button (using laptop) to shut it off and started it up again. It tried to recover the installation but then decided to roll back to Windows 7.
Once I got into my account on Windows 7, I check Windows Update and says error 8007002C
