What a mess upgrade to win 10 pro

    anybody who used wuauclt.exe /updatenow to download n successfully install windows 10 plz post a screen shot of the PC info page to show the Windows 10 build number , tnx

    I do not have a build number but it definitely worked on my Windows 7 laptop. It is installing from update now. My desktop is 8.1 that may have something to do with it. I am using the tool for that.

    I just tried that and when it rebooted I got an error that it couldn't find \windows\system32\winload.efi

    I think if you want to do a clean install you still need to go through the upgrade first.

    I got an error after I'd done the wuauclt.exe /updatenow. Downloaded ok, started the installation then failed with error code C1900208. Anyone else seen this error?
