So a couple of hours ago i tried to install Windows 10 on my other machine. Well a couple of hours later which is now it is still on the Windows 10 logo at startup. Any help guys?
I installed from Windows 7 on the desktop because my computer froze when booting from USB. Now it's just stuck on boot logo.
When upgrading to the next Win 10 build I've occasionally had it stop somewhere in the process. I powered down and restarted. One time it went back to the previous build the other times it just finished the process and worked well. I guess powering down is a no-no but its worked for me.
I also had the same problem with my computer. After moving my hard drive into another computer and doing some research, I found out that my motherboard wasn't compatible with the OS. I'm not sure if that's your problem or not but it might be worth looking into. I would recommend going to the manufacturer's website and looking under the drivers tab, they usually give you OS options that are compatible with it. If windows 8 or 10 aren't included that's most likely your problem.

Stuck at the Win flag endless circles.... Turned off, pressed power until off, and restarted. Install recovery clicked in and was at 75% just starting to third phase... Finished like a charm! YMMV but yeah, it worked for me.... Frigin Gigabyte had a BIOS update to solve the other failures.... So... Look at your manufacturer for a possible solution to Win 10 install hell... Maybe it just hasn't gotten around the forums yet...
