Being Prepared for Windows 10: What Do I Need to Do?

What do I need to do to be prepared for Windows 10?

I have 3 Acer Aspires. 2 are laptops that are running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and 1 is a desktop that is running Windows 8.1 64-bit.

Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would make sure you have backups of the systems.
    2. Make sure the drivers are current and the updates are current.

Lastly make sure that you have a reservation for each system(not needed but good to have)

    And you're set.

Everything that you mentioned is all set. The only thing is that I don't know if all of the drivers are current. How would I find out?

You can go to the mfg of the hardware you have and check for the latest editions. That should do the trick.

Keep in mind that when Win10 does install it might update the drivers again but it's safe to make sure you do that first.

I wouldn't even bother with drivers. Win 10 will update any it thinks it needs to regardless of what you do or don't do beforehand.

Get an image done and let er rip!

It's been advised by others here as well to upgrade drivers before the upgrade to Win10. It can't hurt.

Don't worry about drivers because you will run Win Ten Drivers. The Win Ten Upgrader comes full equip and is a Super Upgrader (you'll see). The only thing you have to do is BACKUP.
    All the best,

Well, on my Laptop, most of all of the drivers date back to 2011. So, I don't think they are current. I know some of you are saying not to worry about it, but I would like to update them anyway. So, how do I tell if my laptop drivers are current since the Acer website's drivers date back to 2011?
