    Windows 10

Installation error when trying to instal built 10162 on Toshiba laptop

    Toshiba Sattelite Pro L650
    Corei3 processor
AMD ATI Radeon Mobility H5145 dedicated graphics
    6GB RAM

    Error message: Installation failed.
Running Windows 7 Pro SP1 fully updated and latest ATI drivers.
More than 20GB free space on both partitions.
KB3035583 installed from downloaded link - Windows 10 reserve notification does not appear.
It seems to be an incompatibility - can someone please enlighten me to where the Windows 10 installation logs is stored so I can try to see a possible reason for failure. I Googled and could not find any useful info.

At the moment I want to do an in place upgrade first and only as a last resort attempt a clean install.

    Thanks all.

System spec is my desktop machine.

Solved methinks - install.wim file did not copy to sources from DVD drive. Now installing from USB and so far so good, not finished yet though....

    Will mark as solved.

toshiba laptop s855-s5378 drivers - 64 bit
Has anyone had good hardware driver experience with Windows 10 and a Toshiba S855-S5378 laptop? I wouldn't mind test driving Windows 10. That would be great. Being around the IT field for a while, I can see how a lack of drivers can be a...
