Can a Windows 10 Refresh be done from installation media?

Yes, it's called an in-place upgrade/repair install. Here's a link to our tutorial on that very subject: Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade - Windows 10 Forums.

Thank you Ed. I will have to peruse this latter, honey do list comes first... seasonal decorative tree. For those who do not care to be politically correct... a Christmas tree!
Hey, we have one of those, too -- whatever kind of tree it might be. A Nordmann Fir, as that's the kind that "the boss" prefers.
Happy holidays to you, also. Let me know if you need more help or info further down the road after "honey do" is "honey done!"

Hi Ed,
I had read tutorials written by Brink previously. I should have known they would have one for this as well. It is a well written tutorial. Thank you.
Honey do is complete. My boss prefers a Douglas Fir, but since we now have a two year and three year old pair of cats we have had to revert to a small fake tree. When our three year old joined us for her first Christmas she showed her appreciation by climbing the Douglas Fir that we had that year. With a liberal application of squirt bottles we were able to dissuade her from climbing the tree. The two year old weighs over sixteen pounds and broke limbs the first time he tried to climb the tree. This is when we resorted to a short fake tree. I have ornaments that my mother made back in the sixties which we don't dare use at this time, maybe after they both become a little less rambunctious.
Happy Holidays!
Dan
Sounds hilarious and horrifying, all rolled into one harum-scarum situation. Completely understand the current choice of tree! Kids will do the same sort of thing, but don't respond as well to the squirt bottle.
