Unable to see the Dual Boot Context Menu on Startup

I don't like typing everything twice and I know how you forum users love your documentation (me too )
So, check this out and tell me what you guys think?

uefi - Unable to boot into fresh Dual-Booted Ubuntu installation - Ask Ubuntu

Everything is there in that forum thread.. whew. Done. The same as that thread says, if you require any more information, don't hesitate to let me know. I'm a little more savvy (just a little) than your average newbie so be respectful please.

Again, please refer to that link for all of my system specs and other relevant information. They coudn't help me over there and referred me here..

Any and all feedback is appreciated! Thank you all in advance!

    Dragonfly,

If you enter the BIOS, in the boot/UEFI section, do you have any option to select Ubuntu instead of Windows?

I am indeed able highlight it. There aren't choices other than highlighting it in the bios. I can see it though.

    Dragonfly,

To just be able to highlight the option does not seem right.

Just throwing some thoughts at you, haven't dealt with Linux for a very long time. Have you tried changing the boot flag from the Windows loader to the GRUB partition?

Also, take a look at the Tutorial that follows. There may be an option there that brings Ubuntu back to the Dual Boot menu:

Operating System to Run at Startup - Choose Default in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

This is out of the W10 league, but you may want to take a look:
    Boot-Repair - Community Help Wiki
Boot-Repair is a simple tool to repair frequent boot issues you may encounter in Ubuntu like when you can't boot Ubuntu after installing Windows or another Linux distribution, or when you can't boot Windows after installing Ubuntu, or when GRUB is not displayed anymore, some upgrade breaks GRUB, etc.

    Here is another find:

How To Get Ubuntu To Boot Before Windows

    Edit:

When you installed Ubuntu, did you let the installation partition manager reduce the Windows partition?
This has a different twist, look at the Manual Way:
Tired Of Windows 8? How To Dual Boot Windows Ubuntu

(Although it is for Windows 8, you may be able to do the same in W10.
