Go from OEM 8 to 10 TP to free RTM license without reverting/install?

Currently I dual-boot 8.1 and 10 TP, my computer comes with Windows 8 and therefore is eligable for a free upgrade to 10. I'm happy with the stability of Windows 10 TP, so I'm asking this:

Can I upgrade my OEM license Windows 8.1 install to the Windows 10 TP, then jump straight to a licensed RTM and have it activated without having to first revert to 8.1 or perform a clean reinstall?

That would probably work if the licenses were the same. I've got the same setup but have 8.1 Core and 10 Pro and my understanding is that's a no go.

Yes, it's been stated several times that you will be able to upgrade from Win 10 TP to Win 10 RTM.

I'm not sure it's bee perfectly clear that you can upgrade from TP to RTM while switching to the free license from having 8.1
